Meet The Maker

Hello! I’m Allyson – owner of The Woodworker’s Daughter.
Like the name says, I’m the daughter of a woodworker! Some of my earliest memories are hanging out in my dad’s workshop, classic 80’s rock playing while he built beautiful furniture. I’d sneak scraps of wood to make my own little “masterpieces” (mostly nails and imagination).
That love for creating never left me. Today, with the help of my amazing husband, Rich, I’ve turned that passion into a small business where we bring handmade wood crafts to life. Rich handles the prep work, I bring the designs to life, and my dad still shares his tools and wisdom with us along the way.
What lights me up most? Inspiring my crafting community. I love creating DIY projects and providing everything you need to make pieces you’ll be proud to display in your home. Whether it’s a finished piece from our shop or supplies for your next DIY, my goal is to spark creativity and joy in your home.
We run our shop out of Southern NH, where we live with my two teenage boys and our two dogs. I’m so grateful for this little business and so thankful for your support—it means the world to us!
